“I want to go to the World Cup with Peru,” said Claudio Pizarro, revealing his big dream. And for those of you working out how old he will be by the time the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ kicks off, yes, he will be 39.
In order to make that dream a reality, Peru, currently 42nd in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, need to pick up points at the end of this month. Pizarro and Co will play Venezuela at home on 24 March before a tough fixture away to Uruguay five days later.

LEICESTER CITY TITLE RACE SENDS SHOCKWAVES
Leicester City's unlikely charge to the Premier League title is not only sending shockwaves through football but also causing real-life earthquakes.A group of students at the University of Leicester installed earthquake-monitoring equipment at a primary school near the King Power Stadium and found goal celebrations were registering on the Richter scale.
Leonardo Ulloa's late winner against Norwich City in February registering a magnitude of 0.3, while both goals in the 2-2 draw with West Brom registered 0.1 as the Foxes held on to their lead at the top.
The students have since set up a dedicated Twitter account, named @VardyQuake, with the aim of monitoring Leicester's home games for the remainder of the season.
"A few days after we installed the equipment at the school and were analysing data collected, we noticed large peaks on the seismogram during football matches being held in the stadium nearby," student Richard Hoyle said.
"A closer look showed us there was a strong correlation between the exact time Leicester scored at home and the occurrence of the large seismic signals.
"We concluded that our equipment was actually measuring small earthquakes produced by the sudden energy release by the cheering Leicester fans celebrating at the moment a goal was scored."

James Ochili's Car Accident ordeal
James Ocholi, minister of state for labour and employment dies in car accident.
A source at the Kaduna State government told our correspondent that the death of Mrs. Ocholi brings the casualty number in the horrific accident to three. Mr. Ocholi, who was traveling on a private visit to Kaduna in company of his wife and first son, died when his driver slammed on the brakes of his Lexus SUV car while at top speed.
A source told us that the driver slammed on the brakes after receiving a radio message from the security car behind the minister’s main vehicle alerting him to a low pressure on one of the back tires. The driver’s panicked reaction precipitated an accident as the security vehicle then rammed into the minister’s vehicle, which somersaulted several times, instantly killing Mr. Ocholi and his first son. Mrs. Ocholi was subsequently pronounced dead after she was taken to a hospital.
A source disclosed that the bodies of Mr. Ocholi and his family were being transported to a morgue in Abuja.
