Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is expected to drop out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination, a Republican familiar with his decision told Yahoo News.
Walker, who has seen his poll numbers plummet in recent weeks, has scheduled a press conference in Madison, Wis., where he will make the announcement.
The New York Times was the first report Walker’s imminent exit.
The Wisconsin governor is the second GOP candidate to bow out of the 2016 field. Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry ended his presidential bid earlier this month.
